TGIF California
So good to see you smiling face Rhonda. I haven't spoke to you in a week, and I am having withdrawals. I did sleep in this morning, which is good for me, that way I am not dragging so bad during the day.
As for the weekend, we don't have alot planned. I love the fact that Dougie is off for 3 days, We so like being with each other. I am going to make an attempt to go to Costco tomorrow. Then on Sunday my sister is having a BBQ. We are going to try and get there, we shall see if I can take that drive, but I am going to really really try.
I have a consultation for physical therapy next week. I am going to be having pool therapy which I cannot wait for, I am so looking to moving around and being normal again. I have to tell you all, that there is no pain in my back where they screwed this hardware into my discs...it amazes me that I am not in some horrible pain, but the scar is giving me grief but I talked to the doc today and it is to be expected.
Ok, so that is my planned weekend, stand by for Monday, we shall see what really happens.
I wish you all a wonderful labor day. Enjoy life, relish in the beauty of your surroundings. Much love and hugs to you all, Diane

Afternoon Miss Rhonda and Cali crew ^_^ Was gonna say Good Morning but I won't have this typed and posted before the bewitching hour strikes LOL Sounds like a fun weekend Rhonda..especially the nature hikes. I do so hear you about the changes WLs has made...just the walking is a huge change for me.
Today is work but greatful I have a job so I'll just leave it at that LOL We've been looking a class C m/h's..Lon says he's tired of driving a stick shift and fighting the hills so we are looking to upgrade to an automatic transmission and maybe just a tad bigger in size. This weekend 'might' bring a quick run up to Redding (Hi Mo!!) to check out a 1990 Fleetwood...sure looks nice on Craigslist and the money is close to our budget with maybe a little negotiations. Tomorrow morning we're heading out to our 1000Trails campground for 3 days of no-city-lights living. We were going to leave tonight but decided to let the 'crazies' have the road...maybe the traffic won't be so bad if we wait.
Other than sitting back relaxing, carving, playing some pool and just enjoying the mountain wild life and smells...not doing a darn thing ^_^ Have a great weekend everyone. I'll be able to read but can't seem to 'send' anything out over the net up at the campground...really need to call ATT about that :-(
Hugs to all!

I didn't make any plans for the holiday weekend, I assume I will be napping and recovering. I'm getting around much better just one week after surgery. I'm taking less and less pain meds. I just take the vicodin at night to sleep...
Thank you so much for all the well wishes and good advice I got from the OH community. Special thanks to Kirsten, my plastics angel, and all the others who have gone down the plastics road before me for their helpful advice.
The cabin fever has really got to me and I'm out and about today. I have had two drains removed, the bandages removed, and today the steri-strip tape covering my incisions was removed. My incision line is completely closed! I'm a lucky girl, the two remaining drains will most likely come out on Tuesday and then I can shower!! Woot!!
